Environmental & Ecological Protection

We consider the ecological industrial safety and the environmental protection as questions of the main priority that are taken into account in the process of business dealing at the Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant.

For the convenience of the plant personnel and townsmen with regard to their health protection, the TVSZ has been developed as an industrial object that is in compliance with requirements stated in International standards in order to be considered as a clean production.

The main foundry shop is equipped with the high performance dust cleaning system based on the cartridge filtration system in addition to special purpose exhaust gas cleaning systems. The paint shop for cars ensures an additional treatment of each technological emission source to minimize polluting factors. The process equipment is fitted with sewage treatment systems, in which water is returned to the process cycle.

Modern equipment and technologies that don't damage the environment, low materials and energy consumption will provide high energy performance of the production process at the Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant.
