The Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant is implementing an Integrated Factory Control System that is based on the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS).
Implementation and application of the IRIS standard is aimed at creation of the modern Business Management System. Implementation of the advanced IRIS standard is assumed to be the key task which realization shall provide the raised confidence on the part of an eventual customer, as well as additional competitive advantages in the market.
The following projects are being carried out at the enterprise within the framework of implementation of the Integrated Factory Control System:

Management of plant resources on the basis of INFOR ERP LN software, that comprises the main enterprise areas and is assigned to create the unified information & operational environment;

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) based on the Siemens PLM Software ensures modern effective design & engineering production support;

The Electronic Document Management System KnorDocs for SharePoint based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 Nintex Workflow 2010;

The Lean production system;

The system of requirements to purchased components and materials at the preproduction phase, as well as consecutive raise of requirements to suppliers’ manufacturing processes (based on PPAP standard developed by leading world motor manufacturers);

The incentive program for all staff levels connected with the realization of business purposes and tasks;

The recruitment system, multistage training system, establishment of the Training Center.
The development of the Integrated Factory Management System allows establishing effective business processes aimed at satisfaction of consumers' requirements and achievement of high return on assets of banks.
International certification body DQS GmbH in April, 2012 has granted Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant with a certificate which proves the enterprise's quality management system accordance with requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard. Tikhvin plant has also been qualified with a uniform certificate of the major international certification network, IQNet.
